Pharmacy management software for clinics in Nepal

Dispense against the prescription, deduct stock automatically, track expiry and batches, and bill in NPR.

A clinic pharmacy that runs on a separate register — or a separate piece of software — is where stock and money quietly drift apart. Medicines get dispensed but not recorded, expiry dates are noticed too late, and the day's pharmacy takings never quite match what left the shelf. D. Clinic runs the pharmacy inside the same system as the consulting room, so the prescription, the stock and the sale are one connected record.

The prescription flows straight to the counter

When a doctor writes a prescription, it is available at the pharmacy immediately — no paper slip to lose or misread. The pharmacist sees what was prescribed, dispenses against it, and the sale is linked back to that visit and that patient. If a medicine is out of stock or needs a substitute, that is recorded too, so the patient file stays accurate.

Stock that stays honest

  • Automatic deduction — every sale reduces stock the moment it is billed, in the same database transaction, so your on-hand figures are always live.
  • Batch and expiry tracking — stock is held by batch with its expiry date; near-expiry and expired items are flagged so they are used first or pulled, not sold by accident.
  • Low-stock visibility — see what is running low before you run out, so reordering is planned rather than reactive.
  • Insufficient-stock guard — a sale that would take an item below zero is rejected with a per-item message, not silently allowed.

Selling and billing in NPR

Pharmacy sales are priced and receipted in Nepali Rupees, with sequential receipt numbers (PH-YYYY-NNNNN) so nothing is missed or duplicated. A patient can pay for their consultation, their tests and their medicines in one transaction — the pharmacy line simply joins the same invoice. At the end of the day, pharmacy takings are part of your single day-close report, reconciled against every individual sale.

Roles built for a small pharmacy team

A dedicated pharmacist role gives your pharmacy staff exactly what they need — the dispensing queue, stock, medicine masters and sales — without clinical note access. A solo practice where the doctor also runs the counter works just as well; the same person can hold both roles.

Reports that tell you what is moving

Because every sale is a structured record, you can see your fastest-moving medicines, margin by item, and pharmacy revenue over time without building a spreadsheet. That makes it easier to decide what to stock more of, what to drop, and whether the pharmacy is pulling its weight.

Part of one system, not a bolt-on

The pharmacy module is included in the D. Clinic plan — there is no separate licence and no separate login to keep in sync. Stock, prescriptions, billing and the patient record all sit together, so a busy clinic with a pharmacy and a lab runs the whole visit — see the doctor, get the tests, collect the medicine, pay once — from a single system.
